To fulfil this goal, it incorporates themes such as burials, religion, art, food and daily life, making use of material from various archaeological sites in Gozo.

Ggantija Temples, Gozo
The Ggantija Temples in Xaghra, Gozo, are one of the most important archaeological sites in the Maltese Islands. National Museum
of Archaeology
The National Museum of Archaeology currently houses a spectacular range of artefacts dating back to Malta’s Neolithic period; from the Ghar Dalam phase (5200 BC) up to the Tarxien phase (2500 BC). On display at this museum are the earliest tools used by prehistoric people to facilitate their daily tasks.

Gran Castello
The Museum houses a wide range of exhibits depicting the domestic, rural and traditional ways of life in the agrarian economy of the Maltese Islands in centuries past. The Museum is located in the apt setting of late medieval houses in Bernardo de Opuo Street in the Citadel. It preserves Malta’s heritage.

Palace Staterooms
The Staterooms are the show piece of the Presidential Palace sited at the heart of Malta's World Heritage Capital city of Valletta. The Palace itself was one of the first buildings in the new city of Valletta founded by Grandmaster Jean Parisot de La Valette in 1566. They showcase centuries of history and grandeur.

Museum of Natural
History
The National Museum of Natural History is the national repository of biological specimens. Both life and earth sciences are represented in the museum, which has a particular focus on the Maltese Islands. St Paul's Catacombs
The Catacombs of St Paul consist of an extensive burial ground which in the 4th century AD was just outside the main Roman city of Melita which incorporated all of modern-day Mdina and a large part of Rabat. This followed a Roman Law that prohibited burials within the city walls. The tombs reveal early Christian burial practices.

Nature Museum, Gozo
Situated behind the Law Courts in the Citadel of Victoria, the Gozo Nature Museum is hosted in a cluster of houses dating back to the early 17th century. During the 17th and 18th centuries the building was used as an inn. It offers a fascinating collection of exhibits showcasing Gozo's natural history and cultural heritage.

Palace Armoury
The Palace Armoury is one of the world’s greatest arms collections housed in their original buildings, and ranks among the most valuable historic monuments of European culture. It offers a unique opportunity to explore Malta’s rich military history through an impressive array of weaponry and armor.

BirdPark Malta

Tarxien Temples, dating from 3600 to 2500 BC, are the most complex of all temple sites in Malta and consist of four megalithic structures. The temples are renowned for the detail of their carvings, which include domestic animals carved in relief, altars, and screens decorated with spiral designs and other patterns.

Inquisitor's Palace
The Inquisitor’s Palace, sited in the heart of Vittoriosa, is an architectural gem, representative of the European history and heritage of the Maltese islands. The Palace was built in the 1530s as the Civil Law Courts of the Order of St John and was used by the inquisitors from 1574 until 1798. It offers a glimpse into Malta's history.

Palazzo Parisio & Gardens
Justifiably described as ‘a miniature Versailles’, Palazzo Parisio in Naxxar, is a historic palace with oodles of charm. Now the beloved home of the prominent, long-established and ennobled Scicluna family, in its time it has been the residence of the most popular Grand Master of the Knights of St John (the ‘Knights of Malta’).

Ta' Kola Windmill, Gozo
Ta’ Kola Windmill is situated in the heart of the village of Xaghra, Gozo, and is one of the few surviving windmills on the Maltese Islands dating back to the Knights’ Period. It is a fine example of the rural economy and domestic life of Gozo in past centuries. It stands as a testament to Gozo's agricultural heritage.

Ghar Dalam Cave
& Museum
Ghar Dalam Cave is a highly important site as it was here that the earliest evidence of human settlement on Malta, dating to 7,400 years ago, was discovered. The site consists of a cave and a museum. It offers a glimpse into Malta’s prehistoric past, highlighting early human habitation and ancient wildlife.

Hagar Qim & Mnajdra Temples
The temple of Hagar Qim, excavated for the first time in 1839, dates to c. 3600 - 3200 BC. It stands on a hilltop overlooking the sea and the islet of Filfla. Just 500m away from Hagar Qim, further towards the cliff face, lies another remarkable temple site, Mnajdra, set in a hollow above the Southern cliffs.
